With extensive experience and a background in good pharmacy practice and pharmacy management, Louis is an integral member of MediLogistics leadership. Having joined the Medipost Holdings group of companies in November 2010, Louis has an exceptional understanding of pharmacy matters coupled with expertise in management and a proactive, strategic perspective on operational matters.

Werner Busch

National operations manager

With pharmacy and logistics expertise, MediLogistics national operations manager Werner Busch is an experienced operations professional with an eye for technical detail and the ability to co-ordinate our national footprint to best serve the diverse needs of our clients. His experience in the logistics and supply chain industry coupled with skills in community pharmacy, change management, training and warehouse operations means that Werner is attuned to our clients’ requirements and how these can best be served.

Feroz Sha

Regional manager - Inland

With his considerable experience in the FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) and retail sectors, amounting to over 24 years, Feroz Sha contributes valuable insight into the logistical needs of our clients. Now responsible for managing MediLogistics’ inland region, Feroz joined the company in 2015. He oversees the operations of distribution hubs in the region, which cater to the needs of our growing client base.

Leandre Gerber

Regional manager – Cape region

With a decade of experience in warehousing, distribution and fleet optimization, Leandre Gerber is a logistician professional with supply chain management expertise. He leads and coordinates the Medilogistics branches in the Western Cape. Leandre’s in-depth understanding of the fast-moving supply chain industry helps to ensure the efficiency, effectiveness and reliability that MediLogistics is known for.

Willem Brits

National Doctor network manager

General practitioners (GPs) in the MediLogistics Doctor Network are our partners in improving access to chronic medicines and enhancing patient wellness. Willem Brits is responsible for managing the growing network of doctors’ practices operating as collection points, allowing their patients to conveniently collect their pre-packaged medicine parcels from the doctor’s rooms. Willem has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, and under his management, the Doctor Network is helping to bring the benefits of secure and reliable medicine supply to more South Africans, particularly those who live in rural areas.

Karel Smit

MediLogistics CDU - Logistics manager

The MediLogistics aspects of operations at the Chronic Dispensary Unit in the Western Cape Region, which dispenses some 500 000 patient-ready medicine parcels per month, are overseen by Karel Smit. With more than 30 years of experience in logistics and transport, Karel’s knowledge and management skills help to ensure that operations run smoothly and that clients and patients always come first.
